From a young age, I knew I was meant to take a different path—one that embraced change and defied tradition. Early in my career, I quickly rose through the ranks in every job, realizing I was destined for something greater. Building meaningful connections has always been my passion, but it wasn’t until I discovered lashing that I truly found my purpose.
What began as a hobby, lashing friends and family, quickly blossomed into a thriving business through word-of-mouth referrals. Taking the leap to leave my full-time job and start Evolution Lash Studio was the best decision of my life.
For more than 26 years, I’ve overcome challenges to build something that reflects everything I’ve learned and love. Opening Evolution was a dream that turned into reality, and every day, I’m reminded that this is about so much more than lashes—it’s about helping people feel their absolute best.

Trained, Trusted, and the Only One of Her Kind on This Stretch of the Shore
Evelyn earned her state license in 2000 and has spent the 26 years since building a depth of experience that shows in every appointment. She holds an Allergy Conscious Artist designation, a distinction that very few lash artists statewide hold. For clients who've struggled with reactions to traditional lash adhesive, or who are simply cautious about what's going near their eyes, that specialization means the difference between skipping lashes altogether and finally getting a set that works for their skin.
The rest of the team brings their own depth, holding certifications in Cosmetology, lash lifts, lash extensions, and brow laminations. Every artist in this studio is licensed, trained, and held to the same standard Evelyn set the day she opened the doors.

Colorescience is physician recommended and safe for sensitive, acne-prone skin. It improves skin health over time and protects against UVA, UVB, blue light, and infrared radiation, covering everything from sun exposure to your phone screen.
Epicutis is in a category of its own. Every ingredient is formulated to restore your skin's lipid barrier and calm inflammation. It's completely fragrance-free, since fragrance is one of the most common causes of breakouts, and it's safe during pregnancy and for clients managing immune issues.

Come in with a clean face. You don't need makeup on or off before you arrive, but do skip retinol, exfoliating acids, or any at-home peels for two to three days beforehand, and stay out of the sun or tanning bed in that same window so your skin isn't extra sensitive going into the treatment.
After your facial, your skin is going to be a little more reactive than usual, so give it a break. Hold off on makeup for the rest of the day if you can, skip the hot yoga or sauna for 24 hours, and keep the retinol and exfoliants paused for a few more days while your skin settles. SPF is non-negotiable after any facial, every single day, not just the day of!
What should I do before and after my facial appointment?
Pricing depends on the set you choose. A Discovery Classic full set runs $199, with fills between $95 and $105. The Hybrid set, which blends classic and volume for a fuller textured look, is $299 for a full set with fills from $100 to $125. The Evolve set, Evolution's full volume option, is $399 for a full set with fills at $155. If you're looking for something lower maintenance, a lash lift is just $125.
How much do lash extensions cost?
A full lash set takes 2 to 2.5 hours for Discovery or Hybrid sets, and 3 to 5 hours for the Evolve volume set, so plan your afternoon accordingly. Fills move faster, usually just over an hour.
How long does a lash or brow appointment take?
Is there downtime after a facial?
None of Evolution's facials require downtime, so you can head straight back into your day. Even peels or dermaplaning, which sound intense, are formulated to deliver visible results without the peeling or redness people associate with more aggressive peels elsewhere. You might notice a little warmth or tightness right after your session, but nothing that keeps you from getting on with your evening!
Plan on a fill every 2 to 3 weeks. Lashes naturally shed as part of your growth cycle, about 1 to 5 per eye each day, so fills replace the extensions that have cycled out and keep your set looking full instead of patchy. Staying on that schedule is what keeps a set looking fresh instead of sparse by week four.
